Jordyn is the owner of Foposoul and a Civic Media M.A. graduate from Columbia College Chicago. She has a passion for capturing stories that amplify social change and support the hard work of other small business owners. Both her video production and writing (as seen in Austin Talks and Yes! Magazine) focuses have been on the Austin community on Chicago’s West Side--the place she calls home.

Kayla Palmore

Kayla is the owner of Shot By K Media and the project coordinator at AAABNA. She is an Austin born and raised creative with a passion for storytelling. Through Shot By K, she strives to capture moments and create authentic memories through photography and cinematography. Additionally, she holds a B.A. in Journalism from Roosevelt University.

The mission of AAABNA is to to create new business opportunities for African Americans in the Austin area as well as the city of Chicago. They help incubate new businesses, create student scholarship opportunities, supply business resource guides, create intern programs for the youth, and provide business education awareness and networking with community groups and organizations. AAABNA is also one of the 8 official Chicago Business Centers.
